Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
These terms govern your use of Stuvo. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them. Stuvo is a study and drafting assistant — it helps you understand assignments and produce editable drafts, not guaranteed final submissions.
1. What Stuvo does
Stuvo reads an assignment you bring to it, explains what is being asked, and generates a draft response and supporting materials. Everything Stuvo produces is a starting draft for you to review, edit and complete.
- Stuvo does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, grades, or that any output meets your institution's requirements.
- AI-generated content can be wrong, outdated, or miss context from your course. Always verify before relying on it.
- Outputs are drafts, not finished work — you decide what, if anything, to submit.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use Stuvo and anything you submit. In particular, you agree to:
- Review, fact-check, personalise and rewrite drafts so the final work is genuinely your own.
- Follow your school, college or university's rules on acceptable use of AI and on academic integrity.
- Use Stuvo in line with our Academic Integrity Policy.
- Only connect accounts and upload material you have the right to use.
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to use Stuvo, and you must provide accurate information. You should be old enough to form a binding contract in your country and to consent to processing of your data. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Connected apps
You can optionally connect third-party apps (for example a documents, notes, calendar or messaging service) so Stuvo can deliver your drafts where you work. Stuvo only requests the access needed to perform the action you ask for, and you can disconnect any app at any time from your connections page. See the Privacy Policy for what we access and store.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
Stuvo offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. See the Refunds & Billing page for details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Stuvo. Among other things, do not:
- Use Stuvo to break the law or to violate someone else's rights.
- Submit Stuvo's drafts as your own original work where doing so breaks your institution's rules.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service, or resell it without permission.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Stuvo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, especially during beta. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about results or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for academic outcomes, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Stuvo evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Questions? Email devalx3@gmail.com.
This page uses clear placeholder language to describe how Stuvo currently works. It is not legal advice and may be updated before and during the public beta. For anything binding, the version published at stuvo.co at the time of your use applies.
