Stuvo policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what Stuvo collects, how it's used, and the controls you have — including how to delete your data. We aim to collect only what we need to run the product.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email and an encrypted password (we never store passwords in plain text).
  • Assignment content: the briefs you scan and the drafts Stuvo generates, so you can return to your workspace.
  • Connected-app data: tokens for apps you choose to connect, plus the minimum needed to deliver your work there.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we store a customer/subscription reference, not your full card details.
  • Basic usage and diagnostic data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use it

  • To run Stuvo: understand your assignment, generate and store your drafts, and deliver them where you ask.
  • To manage your account, plan and usage limits.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
  • To communicate essential account, security and billing messages.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your assignment content to train third-party models.

OAuth and connected apps

When you connect a third-party app, you authorise it through that provider's own consent screen. Stuvo requests the narrowest scope needed for the action you asked for — typically creating or updating a document, event or message you direct it to. We store the access token securely so the connection keeps working, and you can revoke it at any time from your connections page or from the third-party provider's account settings.

Slack integration data

When you connect Slack to Stuvo, Stuvo may store the Slack workspace, channel, webhook, and OAuth connection information needed to deliver user-requested updates into Slack. Stuvo uses this information only to provide the Slack integration — such as posting assignment drafts, study notes, and workflow updates that you choose to send.

Stuvo does not read your Slack message history, does not export or back up Slack messages, and does not use Slack data to train AI models.

Slack connection data is retained while your integration remains connected, or as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve support issues. You can disconnect Slack from your Stuvo account at any time from your connections page, and you may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting devalx3@gmail.com.

AI processing

To generate drafts, assignment text is sent to our AI model provider for processing. This is used to produce your output, not to advertise to you. Because AI output can be inaccurate, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything before you use it.

Data retention and deletion

Your assignments and drafts stay in your workspace until you delete them or close your account. To delete a specific item, remove it from your dashboard. To delete your whole account and associated data, email devalx3@gmail.com from your account email and we will action the request. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security or accounting reasons.

Your choices

  • Disconnect any third-party app at any time from your connections page.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting support.
  • Review the Terms of Service for the rules that govern your use of Stuvo.
