Plain-language basics on how Stuvo plans are billed, how to cancel, and when a refund may apply. This summary sits alongside the Terms of Service.
Plans
Stuvo has a free tier so you can try it before paying. Paid plans unlock higher usage limits and are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the plans page.
Cancellation
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings.
- Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep paid access until the end of the current billing period.
- After it ends, your account moves to the free tier — your saved assignments and drafts stay with you.
Refunds
Because plans are billed in advance, a cancellation generally applies to the next period rather than refunding the current one. That said, during the public beta we want Stuvo to be fair:
- If you were charged in error or by an obvious duplicate, contact us and we'll put it right.
- If the service was materially broken for a period you paid for, reach out — we'll review it case by case.
- Where local consumer law gives you a stronger right to a refund, that law applies.
